Hi there,
I’m so happy that our paths have crossed.
For those who don’t already know me (hello, stranger) my name is Marina Pires, I am a Brazilian photographer currently based in West London. The main idea behind the creation of this website is to publish some of my photographs and visual essays – a few already have been posted on social media (@piresmarina), and others I’ve only made available here.
I have always been passionate about photography. In the last couple of years, I have decided to adventure further, to learn fiercely, to find the feelings inside the frame. As I am sure most of you already know, it is not always an easy task to follow this path; some days are just made of shadows, and it is hard to be blessed by the perfect moment. But hell, I will keep trying.
I like to be an amateur; I make my choices within the boundaries of my heart, and I am a wanderer, following the journey that is presented to me. The streets are filled with lights and love. I want the striking thunder. I want to capture the autumn rain and to make it eternal.
